Abstract
The innovative activity of the food industry enterprises is analyzed. Also, the level of their innovation and ability to update fixed assets in the conditions of uncertainty of the post-crisis period was assessed. The possibilities of the industry to transformational changes on the basis of innovation and investment approach were evaluated and the necessity of creating conditions conducive to the development of innovative processes in the industry was substantiated.
