Abstract
The lecture notes discuss the organization of work of different types of bars, as well as the features of the bartender and sommelier. The characteristics of bar equipment, equipment and utensils for serving bar products, classification of mixed drinks and the order of the wine list are given. The General information on the order of performance of duties of the bartender and sommelier is stated. For students of specialty 241 "Hotel and restaurant business" of Donetsk national University of Economics and trade named after Mikhail Tugan-Baranovsky.
