Abstract
Building nonlinear models for determining a kind of dependence between independent quantities and dependent quantity. In this research, independent quantities are labour resources (average monthly salary) and fixed assets value, dependent quantity – volume of products sold (goods, services). In order to achieve the stated purpose, graphical and analytical methods of statistics were used, namely Cobb-Douglas production function. The calculations were made in the module of nonlinear evaluation of Statistica system. The results of the research are obtained production functions for different kinds of economic activities; determined parameters of functions as indicators of factors’ impact on the dependent quantity and efficiency of labour resource use. Kinds of relations between factors and function are described. The scientific novelty is presented by the production functions for each kind of economic activity obtained as a result of conducted research. Proved an opportunity of application of the production functions at the macrolevel. Building the production functions of each kind of economic activities allows determining the volume of products sold of appropriate kind of economic activities at the predetermined value of average monthly salary and fixed assets value. Functions’ parameters can be used as coefficients of flexibility of the impact of average monthly salary changes on the volume of products sold as an element of strategic personnel management.
