Abstract

Objective. The purpose of the work is an attempt to present a literary work as a special artistic and aesthetic form of comprehension of reality, publication of the results of the study of the level of aesthetic culture of adolescents and a description of the statement of the experiment on its improvement by means of literary word. Methods. The work outlines the original theoretical positions and summarizes the results of experimental work. Experimental part is carried out in the form of observation, oral and written questioning of teachers and students, interviews with them, experimental lessons on the proposed models, ranking to determine the forms of educational work, optimal solutions to the problem of research, etc., and also mathematical processing of the results of experimental work and its interpretation in the context of confirmation of the reliability of the results of the study, the validity of the hypothesis. Results. Improvement and specification of the conceptual apparatus for studying the aesthetic education of adolescents, systematization of approaches to the study of the concept of «aesthetic culture» and the peculiarities of determining the level of its formation, which can be used in further exploration of the theory and practice of teaching and upbringing. Complex research of means of fiction text contributing to increase the level of formation of aesthetic education of the person and ways of their use; clarification of factors influencing the level of aesthetic culture of adolescents; revealing ways of using a kind of analysis of texts (on the material of I. Franko’s work) taking into account its practical use. The results of the study can be used for further solving the practical problems of education and training
