Abstract
A critical analysis and generalization of approaches to the characteristics of qualities and properties of person-employee is conducted in the article. It is determined that they should reflect the potential of the person to generate income for all participants involved in economic relations. Understanding of productive capacities of a person is suggested. The substantive content of productive capacities is determined due to general and professional competence, their formation and composition. The immanent basic properties of human capital of an enterprise is systematized and supplemented. The properties of human capital common with other types of capital were revealed
