Abstract

he purpose of this article is to analyze and to characterize advantages and disadvantages of using the modern processes of water preparation and water treatment with the determination of further directions in the development of energy-saving technologies for producing high-quality purified water for technological needs of the food industry. Existing processes of water treatment and purification for the food industry were proposed. Description of the different ways of traditional and membrane preparation and purification for the food industry is presented. The advantages of membrane processes applying of water preparation and water treatment in various sectors of the food industry were defined
