Abstract
The article describes some of the approaches to the definition of the characteristics of the globalization of the world economy has been established that globalization represents a new stage in the world order of formation, which is characterized by the internationalization of production, liberalization of international relations, ‘erasing’ the barriers between countries, regardless of their geographical location, thereby ensuring the free movement labor, capital, goods, services and information. The theoretical aspects of the study of the phenomenon of globalization, as the acting force exercise significant influence on the formation and development of the world order. Multipolarity is revealed in the interpretation of the concept of ‘globalization’, which leads to the existence of contradictions in the allocation of social and economic parameters measuring it. It outlines the main parameters of economic and social development. The techniques assess the level of globalization in the context of measuring the parameters on the basis of indicators characterizing the level of globalization of the world economy.
