Abstract
The article describes the most common theory of international economic integration: federalism, functionalism, transaktsional integration theory, neofunktsionalism. It was made a detailed analysis of the provisions of each of the theories, their characteristics were set. It was considered the basic theory of the position data on the basis of fundators` papers on submitted directions. Part of the comparative analysis of the theories was discussed. It were set the property of international economic integration, allowing to limit its scope to other processes that take place at this stage of development of the international community, namely the formation of a variety of separate independent units; the union of two or more subjects of international relations; the establishment of civil and legal relations between the Unites States and voluntary membership in the union (the entry into the union carried out by contract); focus association for the implementation of the objectives of effective joint cooperation.
