Abstract

The dynamics of exports, imports and balances of international trade in tourist services of Ukraine is analyzed. An assessment of the effectiveness of Ukraine's foreign trade in travel-related services has been carried out. A decrease was found in the effectiveness of international trade in tourism services, which is expressed in an increase in the negative balance of foreign trade operations, reformatting of the structure of foreign trade in tourism services in favor of a 31% increase in the share of imports, and a decrease in the rate of development of tourism activity since 2014 due to negative political and socio-economic phenomena. To determine the key parameters for the development of international trade in tourism services in Ukraine, a multivariate correlation and regression analysis was carried out. A regression model of the dependence of the effectiveness of foreign trade in tourism services on political stability in the country is obtained. It is concluded that a 1% change in the political stability index leads to a similar change in the result of international travel trade by 226.58%.
