Abstract

Administration plays an important role in the activities of mining and processing plants of Krivoy Rog. According to the Charter of these companies, the development strategy is designed by the Supervisory Boards, and its implementation is carried out by the Management Boards. The strategic goals of the mining and processing plants are to increase sales, improve product quality, raise social welfare of personnel, reduce harmful emissions and update equipment. Administration makes provisions for achieving the strategic goals using the organizational structure of management, socio-psychological, and economic and administrative management methods, as well as carrying out current and operational management. Having reviewed the statements of the mining and processing plants of Krivoy Rog, it was found that the strategic goals of these companies are being accomplished. This indicates the effectiveness of administration at the studied companies.
