Abstract
The paper substantiates the specifics of the economic nature of the intellectualization of personnel as an object of management, its conditionality to the mutually reinforcing levels (individual and collective) of the intellectual potential of personnel, passive and active forms of its state in relation to the innovation process. The non-standard factorial influence in the subject area of research, which is associated with the special importance of the role of its factor component that forms the intellectual level of employees, is transformed into the level of intellectual capabilities of the workforce in the innovation sphere.
