Abstract

The poetic language of Post-modern writers (Yu. Andruhovych, N. Bilotserkivets, Yu. Izdryk, M. Savka) is analyzed. The peculiarities of using terminological vocabulary in various areas are considered in the works of different writers. The use of specific 57 № 1 (18) 2019 terms in poetry is accompanied by the rethinking of their meaning and metaphorization, the loss of their typical features appropriate to this sort of vocabulary (unambiguousness, the lack of emotional color, systemicity, accuracy, etc.). The presence of scientific and technical vocabulary in fiction texts is the evidence of developing the Ukrainian language system and style assimilation. The paper shows the examples illustrating these language processes. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the analysis of stylistic borrowings into the poetic speech gives the opportunity to reveal in general the tendencies of the modern language changes. The practical significance of the paper can be observed through the implementation its materials into studying the styles of speech, the terminology of the Ukrainian language and stylistic means. Moreover the results of the research can be the basis for the comprehensive analysis of the Post-modernism in terms of art and its implementation in the literature aspect.
