Abstract
The article proposes didactic approaches and principles that will contribute to the successful formation of design and development competencies in the process of studying graphic disciplines; It is noted that the complex application of competent, systemic and personally oriented approaches will ensure not only the mastering of practical and theoretical material, but also increase the intellectual and volitional potential of the future engineer. The author focuses on the fact that the unity of general-edict and specific principles will contribute to the development of the individual and his further professional development.
