Abstract

The objectivel of article is to establish the evolution of approaches to managing global food security and defining the key elements of modern mechanisms. Method. In the research methods of theoretical generalization and comparison, induction and deduction (to clarify the meaning of the concept), abstraction (to determine the evolution of management mechanisms), methods of system structural analysis (to determine levels of Food Safety Management) were used. Results. Based on the research the causes and consequences of change of approaches to food security management at international level were determined, the evolution of management mechanisms of global food security was established, the elements of modern management mechanisms were justified.
