Abstract

The article deals with theoretical and practical aspects of the reform of the domestic banking system in accordance with international standards, namely, Basel III. It is proposed to change the NBU norms for commercial banks and introduce a new system of credit risk assessment rules. The strategy of development of state banks of Ukraine, methodological principles of disclosure and development of standards of financial and prudential reporting of banks is considered and developed. Further development of the basic principles of reforming the Deposit Guarantee Fund and the possibility of using digital banking, which involves the introduction of innovative technologies in the internal processes of banks. Also, foreign experience in digitalizing banks through digital banking models (A Digital Bank Brand, A Digital Bank Subsidiary, A Digital Bank Channel, A Digital Native Bank) has been suggested for practical application.
