Abstract

The purpose of the article is to consider the prospects for the operation of insurance companies and the possibility of providing the insurance services by them in the light of the powerful development of the latest electronic technologies in the sphere of doing business. During the preparation of the article, the general and special methods of the scientific research of economic processes were used, in particular, the system approach, comparison, grouping, detailing, generalization, formalization, the methods of statistical analysis, etc. The prospects of implementing the newest electronic technologies in the sphere of insurance business have been considered. The review of the latest changes of the traditional channels of servicing the customers in the insurance companies and providing the insurance service has been made, the directions of the usage of the modern gadgets in the implementation of insurance operations have been also outlined. The Internet services of some of the largest insurance companies in Ukraine have been analyzed. The necessity to actively form the electronic platforms, to adopt the new interface platforms, messenger technologies, Big Data technology in the light of the current trends for the development of the global insurance business have been revealed
