Abstract
It is determined that in the period of rapid world proliferation of informational technologies and technologies of formation of knowledge, the society needs specialists of bilingual competence high level who are able to intercommunicate effectively in increasingly difficult multicultural social-informational space. It is proved that universities, which form informational culture of professionals, are the important institutional environment of bilingualism
