Abstract

The article dwells upon the issues of development of innovation economics in modern condition. Innovative aspects of economic development based on the example of the Nordic countries are considered. Features of the strategy of innovative development of Sweden, informative indicators in the field of innovative activity, such as «human resources» (funding and government support), «activity of the firms», «results», the index of innovative development of the Nordic countries is calculated. It is revealed that at the present stage the leading countries of innovative development are Sweden, Finland and Denmark. The level of innovative potential of economy of the Nordic countries is defined. The directions of transformation of innovation strategy of the Nordic countries are established. On the basis of forecasts of OECD on GDP volumes it has been done the forecast of R&D expenditures of Nordic countries in 2020
