Abstract

The aim is to develop theoretical and methodological principles for the formation and management of strategies for diversifying the activities of industrial enterprises during trade wars. It is necessary to carry out a critical analysis and generalize the theoretical approaches to the definition of the essence and content of diversification, to improve the classification of diversification types in relation to the realities of the domestic economy and to investigate the scientific and methodological approaches and problems of managing diversification in the system of strategic management of the enterprise. In the article we have considered a set of scientific views and theoretical concepts which regard the features of diversifying food production. We have anasised the approaches to improve and deepen the content diversification, based on the characteristics of modern foreign economic conditions and specific food as material production. The article deals with macroeconomic conditions and internal factors diversification, which form the framework for the implementation of this process in a continuous trade war.
