Abstract

The theoretical study of system-building elements of regional economic security has been carried out in the article. The main components of the regional economic security system have been defined. The result of the study is the structural and logical scheme of the constituent elements of the system of regional economic security. The purpose of the article is to identify the system-building elements of regional economic security. For the purpose of the study and systematization of elements of the regional economic security system, the methods of theoretical generalization have been used. The achievements of foreign and domestic scientists are the theoretical basis of the research. To achieve the goal of the article, the following research methods were used: system approach, structural and logical analysis, method of analysis and synthesis, techniques of logical generalization. As a result of the theoretical research on system-building elements of regional economic security, the scheme of the constituent elements of the system of regional economic security has been constructed. The proposed scheme defines the subjects of the system, its objects and mechanisms for the provision of regional economic security. The implementation of the proposed system would allow the regions to ensure resilience to internal and external threats, the relative economic self-sufficiency, the strength of links between elements of the regional economy, the competitiveness and the use of competitive advantages, while maintaining the balance of interregional relations, the compliance of the indicators of regional economic security with the normative level. In further research it is expedient to formulate a method for estimating and forecasting the regional economic security
