Abstract

The article studies the major innovative technologies in dairy industry. The study has used methods of theoretical generalization and comparison, grouping, graphical visualization methods. The relevance of the study is stipulated by the fact that in the current economic conditions innovations are given weighty significance in overcoming the manufacturing, resource and technological problems of the dairy industry and only the use of an innovative approach is the way to increase the competitiveness of the milk processing industry and the key to the effective economic growth. There have been analyzed the basic directions of technological innovation in the dairy industry. There has been presented the general statistics on innovation in the industry. There has been defined the state of development and implementation of innovative technologies in Ukrainian enterprises. The article provides examples of implementing innovations and innovative technologies, definite advantages of implementing innovations and constraining factors. It also presents principles of overcoming barriers to innovation and conclusions on the state of the dairy industry
