Abstract
Сommunicative methods of teaching foreign languages in the economic university are considered. Payed attention to the use of the tandem method and the method "S.G." or "Les simulations globales" in English lessons. Payed attention to various forms of work in classes in order to increase the motivation of students to learn a foreign language
