Abstract
The stages of innovation activity of the mechanical engineering enterprise are defined: marketing, R & D, development and production, commercialization and sales. These stages are specified through separate stages of the innovation process, which contain a number of business processes. Business processes are presented in the form of protocols of innovation activity
