Abstract
The article defines the role of rubber footwear in ensuring the quality of life of the population in all spheres of its life activity. There are determined the factors dictating the need to develop the domestic market of rubber footwear. The modern characteristics of this market in the context of the development of the domestic footwear market as a whole is researched. Made a diagnosis of the range of problems in functioning of the rubber footwear market. The tasks of the perspective development of the rubber footwear market in Ukraine are substantiated in the view of the realization of world trends
