Abstract
The conceptual-categorical apparatus, based on of clarifying the essence of the terms "problem" and "global problems", is improved. The main characteristic features of the global problems of humanity are determined. The global problems of humanity at the beginning of the XXI century are investigated. The article describes the causal relationships of factors of global problems, aimed at determining the causes of their formation and objects of their influence. The whole complex of global problems arises in the communication system "man-society-nature" is established. The ranking of global humanity problems in 2007-2017 has been constructed, its results have identified the priority of environmental and economic problems solving, which requires the development of an effective mechanism for regulation between human economic activity and environmental sustainability
