Abstract

The essence of labor migration of the population is studied in the article. Were analyzed the dynamics of migration of the population of Ukraine for the period 2012-2016, were determined the main trends and specific signs of the international migration sphere. Were disclosed the main factors of international emigration of the economically active population, among them structural unemployment, low wages and life of the population. It was established that the main disadvantage of the domestic labor market is the cheapness of the labor force. The structure of potential labor immigrants is determined, among which a high proportion occupy highly skilled workers. Were noted positive and negative impact of labor migration of the population on the socio-economic development of the country. As a result, measures were proposed to avoid negative consequences of labor emigration, which contribute to a reduction in the number of labor immigrants and the return migration of the population of Ukraine
