Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the structure and extent of the system of state regulation of business development in Ukraine. The research uses a set of general scientific methods: generalization and scientific abstraction, structural-functional analysis and modeling. According to the results of the study, the system of state regulation of business development consists of subsystems of measures of administrative-legal regulation and economic stimulation. The greatest effectiveness is the optimization of the institutional environment for business development, which is manifested in deregulation, a test marathon, a reduction in the NBU rate, and tax privileges. The effectiveness of regulatory policy is a partial decline in the context of positive institutional changes, reducing the number of enterprises and the employed population
