Abstract

Abstract. Introduction The central place of information and communication technologies in the structure of the post-industrial technical and economic structure, requires continuous monitoring of the quality of their development and identification of the life cycle. The relevant information can be obtained on the basis of determining the trends of development of the world and Ukrainian ICT markets. It will serve as the basis for foresight in the areas of state economic policy and identify the most attractive parts of the investment segments of relevant industries and markets. Purpose Definition of global trends in the development of the market of information and communication technologies, verification of the hypothesis of their synchronization with national trends, medium and long-term forecasting of the investment situation in the industry. Methods. Within the framework of the general scientific system approach, the methods used in statistical and comparative analysis were used to determine the trends of market dynamics and the degree of their synchronization. Results On the basis of the analysis of the world and Ukrainian markets of information and communication technologies, the fact of synchronizing the main trends with regard to the steady slowdown of the growth rates of the markets and their main segments from the connection to mobile communication and the Internet, the maintenance of mobile communications of the largest share in the structure of the market, the steady growth of growth and the share of programming, the constant decrease of the share of fixed communication, the gradual increase of the share of computer communications and the reduction of the share of hardware provision. Conclusion The established trends give grounds for predicting the sustainability of the medium-term investment situation in the field of information and communication technologies. In the long-term perspective, the formation of the "plateau" condition is foreseen for the development of the post-industrial structure, which causes the diversification of investment flows into the field of nanotechnology. The advance development of the programming segment in Ukraine should be used in the state economic policy as a development driver and source of diffusion of innovations.
