Abstract
The article considers the place of the transport sector in the formation of national and international strategies for sustainable development of society and economy. The aim of the article is to study the role and characteristics of transport as one of the key aspects of sustainable growth. Theoretical approaches to the definition of ‘transport infrastructure’ and ‘sustainable transport’ are review, the problems of society related to the dynamic development of transport systems are presented.
