Abstract
The economic meaning of the concept of «investment» is considered, the vol¬ume of direct foreign investments in the economy of Ukraine as a whole and the agroindustrial sector of Ukraine are examined in particular, the main advantages, disadvantages and priority directions of investment in the agroindustrial complex of Ukraine are investigated, conclusions about the prospects of attraction of foreign investments into the investigated sphere of economy are made. countries.
