Abstract

The possibility of providing of regional economic safety through the development and implementation of a systemof early warning and response to threats is considered in the article. The theoretical basis of the research is the achievement offoreign and domestic scientists on the issues of regional economic safety and its threats, the development and implementationof the system of early warning and response to threats (risks). Methods of theoretical generalization were used for studying and systematization of elements of the system of early warningand response to threats to regional economic safety. In the process of theoretical study of the possibility of providing regionaleconomic safety through the formation of a system of early warning and response of threats the following methods were used: systematic approach, structural and logical analysis, method of analysis and synthesis, techniques of logical generalization. As a result of the scientific research the tasks of the system the early warning and response and the stages of its implementationwere identified. The obtained results are presented in the form of a structural-logical scheme. The groups of threats to theregion’s economic safety are identified and it is focused on the importance of selecting indicators for each of them. The objectivenecessity of introducing a system of prevention and response at the regional level for ensuring of their economic safety is proved.
