Abstract

In the article were investigated the trends of socio-economic indicators of Dnepropetrovsk region, peculiarities of industrial development in Ukraine, the structure and dynamics of the volume of industrial production sold in Ukraine in the extractive industry. The mining industry enterprises of the Krivoy Rog Basin have been identified as the object of research, entrepreneurial activity of which, in modern integration and transformation conditions, needs to apply new management mechanisms to it, the prerequisite for the development of which is the competitive potentials diagnosis. The estimation indicators system of the enterprises competitive potential is offered. The use of tools for economic diagnostics to conduct an integrated assessment of the selected enterprises competitive potential allowed: firstly, to determine the overall competitive enterprises integral indicators and units: internal business processes, finance, marketing, personnel; secondly, to rank competitor companies for each block and in general, relative to competitors; thirdly, "bottlenecks" and prospects of financial and economic activity are defined, priority developments directions of selected populations enterprises
