Abstract
The article is to study the theoretical foundations of the analysis of the balance sheet. Considered balance sheet as an element of the method of economic analysis, assets and liabilities as constituent elements of the balance sheet, the differences between of national and international practice structure of assets and liabilities balance, the golden rule of balance; submitted stages of conducting analysis balance certain directions and aspects; proved quality characteristics on the balance sheet. The article is to study the theoretical basis of the analysis of the balance sheet improvement and development trends of formation and analyzing information of the balance sheet. Proposed financial and economic tools to improve the financial condition of enterprise and steps to exit the enterprise crisis.
