Abstract

It is proved that a high level of infrastructure is a prerequisite for the growth of competitiveness of the national economy, high competitiveness creates conditions for economic growth and improving living standards, rising living standards contributes to the accumulation of intellectual capital, which in its turn stimulates the development of the most valuable in today’s economy infrastructure sectors, including Information and Communication. Key areas of the world economy development infrastructure are highlighted. Tendencies of development of information and communications infrastructure and especially the formation of EU digital market are determined. The mechanism of development of national information and communication infrastructure is justified.
