Abstract
The article is devoted to revealing the importance of information provision for the system of management of insurance activities. Specifics of the process of preparing information for the use in the system of insurance management and the main requirements to the quality of information used in managing insurance activities are determined. A typical algorithm of information provision of the system of insurance management is presented. The main tasks of forecasting in the system of management of insurance activity are generalized and elaborated.
