Abstract
The article examines the border as a factor of development of marine infrastructure. It analyses the tendenciesand dynamics of the cargo turnover of sea commercial ports of Ukraine. It has formulated and characterized themain centers of development of maritime infrastructure. It has revealed reasons for the reduction of goods traffic inUkrainian ports. The article outlines the directions to increase the competitiveness of Ukraine’s maritime infrastructure.
