Abstract

The article describes the features of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the process of transport systems’ integration. Particular attention is paid to the integration of the Ukrainian aviation network in the EU single aviation network. The recommendations on strategies and mechanisms for the integration of the aviation network in Ukraine into a single transport system of the EU are worked out. On the basis of the gradient method of maximal element, using of the concept of «Hub & Spoke», substantiation of economic feasibility of forming an international aviahub in the central part of Ukraine, the model of the European avianetwork is work out in the view of optimal placement of aviahubs that improves the efficiency of air transport on the basis of a significant increase in the number of air routes in the direction of the Middle East and to create conditions for further development of the global aviation system.
