Abstract
The article discusses the main challenges of the global infrastructure, in particular institutional features of regulating its formation process. The features of the International Development Association influence on the development of a global infrastructure was described, it was presented the most important investment projects. There were assess the overall development trend of global infrastructure, it found that the main problem in the implementation of infrastructure development policies at both the national and global level is the lack of available funds, long payback period, high risks, inefficient management.
