Abstract
The present article is concerned with the study of the manifestations of artistic and pictorial meansof cinemapoetics in the arts of precinematographic period, namely in painting, architecture, music andtheater. It is stated that montage process is a psychophysiological feature of human consciousness, aswell as the main means of a work of art structuring. For that purpose, the examples of analyses of worksof spatial and temporal arts taken from literary figures, producers and scientists’ studies are provided andinterpreted.
