Abstract

Purpose. To analyze conceptual models of history and to define their essential advantages and disadvantages regarding the understanding of historical progress of mankind. Methodological approach. During the study, the method of analysis was used. It is possible to define the basic principles metapatterns history in General. Using a systematic approach, it was determined that metapattern as a whole can be regarded as a methodological concept in the study of historical stages of human development because it summarizes a number of qualitative characteristics for analysis of historical events and phenomena. Results. In contemporary scientific discourse does not exist clearly defined priorities regarding the use of metapattern history for consideration stages of the development of humanity as a whole. It is noteworthy that each of them reflects a certain aspect of the development of civilization and explains its separate elements. The pace and trends of development of modern civilization for the quality characteristics coincide with the characteristics rhizome model of history that contributes to the development of scientific disciplines and creates conditions for objective discourse. Scientific novelty. The question was asked in relation to the modern tendency in academic discourse about the use of a particular model of history for the analysis of any historical stage. Practical significance. The results of the study can be used to generate a holistic view of conceptual models of history. The model rizoma allows you to complement the idea about the modern era of human development with new qualitative characteristics for science.
