Abstract
The article highlights the principles of Finnish educational policy that characterize the development of ensuring the quality of education in this country. The principles of coherence, duration, fairness, flexible standardization, complementary are featured and analyzed. Maintenance and development of these principles played a big role in promotion of Finnish education system, which nowadays could be regarded as one of the best in the world.
