Abstract
The article proposes a scientific and methodological approach to determining the level of favorable environment for the intellectualization of trade enterprises. This approach involves the calculation of a comprehensive indicator of the favorable environment, formed on the basis of the integration of assessments of critical environmental factors (political, economic, social, institutional and technological). It allows you to get an objective conclusion about the external climate for the intellectualization of activities.
