Abstract
In the article the state of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine in the context of international tourist traffic has been analyzed. The dynamics of the number of passengers carried by mode of transport and the operational length of the tracks have been estimated. To determine the international significance of the state of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine, indicators of the dynamics of export and import of transport services in Ukraine have been estimated. Assessment of the quality of transport infrastructure by mode of transport in the world ranking has been carried out. The influence and significance of transport infrastructure in the formation of tourist flows has been revealed. A number of negative aspects of the functioning of the transport infrastructure that affect the development of tourism in the country have been identified. Ways to overcome this influence and directions for the effective development of domestic transport to improve tourism needs have been proposed.
