Abstract

This article reviews methods, types, approaches and forms of work on the forming of orthoepic and lexical literacy of students and the efficiency of information technology applications during the business Ukrainian lectures in the institutions of higher education of economic profile. It offers examples of problems and tasks that facilitate the formation of the speech culture in students. The aim of this study is to suggest ways of increasing the level of orthoepic and lexical literacy of students during business Ukrainian lectures in institutions of higher education of economic profile. Problems and tasks are offered, that are directed at the development of the orthoepic and lexical literacy in students. They have been tested by us during the business Ukrainian classes in the institutions of higher education of economic profile. The practice shows that the introduction of a system of orthoepic and lexical exercises in the process of education facilitates the formation of speech and speaking competency, as well as the increase of the speech culture of students. Introduction of the communicative exercises system into the educational process, involvement of students in search and analysis of information in scientific journals and on the Internet, organization of messages on processed information and discussions on professionally oriented topics, modeling of different professional situations in pairs, conducting of communicative trainings, work with the Internet resources all this contributes to the formation of orthoepic, accentuation, lexical literacy and enhancement of students' speech culture.
