Abstract
The essence and the functions of the tax administration system have been defined. The article contains the analysis of the modern tax administration: tax revenue, taxpayer accounting, control and verification, tax consultation. The author points out the main problems of organization of the tax system administration in Ukraine and outlines the ways of their resolving taking into consideration experience of the developed countries.
