Abstract

Purpose. Substantiation of methodological approaches to diagnostics of strategic potential of changes in the enterprise in the conditions of preparation for strategic transformations Methodology of research. Theoretical and methodological basis of the research was the position of change theory, change management and strategic management – to determine the essence of the strategic potential of changes in the enterprise and identify its constituent elements. The research used methods of scientific search, generalization, systematization, as well as graphical and tabular methods – to streamline the diagnosis of the strategic potential of changes in the enterprise and its components. Findings. The conducted research has made it possible to determine that the potential of strategic change is a complex category, which is determined by the formed strategic potential of the enterprise, is a set of strategic resources, competences and opportunities that are accumulated and used (or can be used) in the process of implementing strategic changes in the enterprise for the achievement of strategic goals in dynamic environmental conditions. Local components of strategic change potential are determined labor (personnel), local potential of strategic changes of fixed assets (stock analog of change potential), reversible local potential of strategic changes, local potential of strategic changes of intangible assets of the enterprise, financial and investment local potential of changes. The mechanism of diagnosing the potential of strategic changes in the enterprise contains the object of diagnostics, the purpose of its implementation, the basic principles that should underlie the diagnosis and directly the mechanism of diagnosis. The implementation of the proposed mechanism will identify one of three approaches to building the potential for strategic change: flexible, inflexible or balanced. Originality. As a result of the research the author clarifies the essence of strategic potential of change, the content of diagnostics of strategic potential of changes of the enterprise, the identification of local components of strategic potential of changes is made, and also the mechanism of diagnostics of potential of strategic changes of the enterprise as an element of system of change management is offered. Practical value. The implementation of the proposed mechanism for diagnosing the potential of strategic change of the enterprise will allow the team leader to form an analytical basis for determining the level of resources of the strategic change system, as well as effective approaches to its management.
