Abstract

The article provides an assessment of the national public funding of basic sectors of sustainable development of Ukraine. National mechanisms for public funding of basic sectors of sustainable development, the volume of national public spending, ratios of national public funding of basic sectors of Ukraine’s sustainable development and targets set at international level have been analyzed. Multidirectionality of trends of national public funding of basic sectors of sustainable development in Ukraine has been defined. The mismatch of indicators of public funding of basic sectors of sustainable development and targets set at international level has been determined. The following points have been revealed: a lack of funds in the financing of the health and education sectors; inefficient management and use of public funds into the health sector, the environment, social security, science, education and culture.
