Abstract
The study of mechanisms for generating the UNDP financial resources has determined that the financing of its activities is carried out by voluntary contributions from donors, which are allocated to the funds of regular (core) and other (noncore) resources. It has been revealed that the largest share of contributions has been made to non-core resources. The analysis of the financing of UNDP sustainable development projects shows the following trends: reduction of the total project budget; directing the largest share of financial resources at increasing the responsibility of state institutions, inclusive and sustainable growth, democratic governance.
