Abstract

The aim of the study is using of taxonomic analysis method for assessing of the rating of economic activity’s types in Ukraine. Also it is necessary to draw conclusions about changes of the potential in various types of economic activity in Ukraine on the base of investigation of the dynamics of taxonomic indicator. The graphic and analytical methods of statistics, such as taxonomic analysis are applied for achieving the goal. The standardization of baseline data was made in the program Statistica to determine the rating of economic activity’s types was, all other calculations were made in MS Excel. As a result of calculations the rating of economic activity’s types in Ukraine is determined, the dynamics of its changes in 2010 - 2015 is studied. Scientific novelty represented as an attempt to apply the method of taxonomy for assessing of the rating of various types of economic activity in the conditions of Ukraine. The practical significance of the results is the possibility of predicting the rating of economic activity’s types, the ability to assess the potential of the environment of economic entities’ functioning in developing of the strategy for their development.
