Abstract

The article provides a cluster analysis of the regional hotel services markets of Ukraine. The objects of the cluster analysis are 24 regions of Ukraine and Kiev city. The infrastructure components by which the grouping was carried out in 2017 were: number of collective accommodation facilities by region; number of beds (beds) in collective accommodation facilities by region; number of persons staying in collective accommodation facilities by region; length of visitors staying in collective accommodation facilities by region; revenues of collective accommodation facilities by region. The optimal composition of clusters of regional hotel services markets is determined, which are necessary for a more detailed and fundamental market analysis and the development of local development concepts and strategies. To determine the enlarged number of clusters, it is proposed to choose a threshold distance of 4 or higher. For a more detailed and fundamental analysis of the hotel services market, necessary for the development of local development strategies, it is proposed to choose a threshold distance of 2 or lower, which will determine the optimal composition of clusters by the performance indicators of regional hotel services markets enterprises.
